The Sacrament of
Confirmation.
The sacrament of confirmation strengthens the baptised and obliges them more firmly to be witnesses of Christ by word and deed and to spread and defend the faith. It imprints a character, enriches by the gift of the Holy Spirit the baptised continuing on the path of Christian initiation, and binds them more perfectly to the Church.

Reception of Confirmation.
This program is for children who have already received the Sacrament of First Holy Communion and are now preparing to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation.
To enrol in the program, your child must:

Be in Grade 6 or above in 2026.

Be able to provide a copy of their Baptism and First Holy Communion certificates.

Attend all program sessions with at least one parent or guardian.

Reside within the boundaries of Our Lady of the Angels Parish* or be recognised as a Parish Family**.
* The parish boundaries are encompassed by Samantha Riley Drive, Glenhaven Road, Cattai Creek, Boundary Road, and Windsor Road.
** Parish Families who live outside the parish boundaries may still be eligible if they can demonstrate an ongoing commitment to OLA through regular Sunday Mass attendance, being registered with the parish, and/or actively supporting parish life.
