Join us in celebrating our 3rd year anniversary on 1 August Sunday after the 10am mass.

BAPTISMS AT OLA
Parents that would like to have their children baptised at OLA are required to attend a Baptismal seminar held on the last Sunday of every month, after the 10:00 a.m. Mass at the church.
Please call the parish office to indicate which seminar you will be attending. Registrations and bookings can be made during this seminar. Thank you.

PARISH DINNER DANCE
Saturday, 6th November 2010
Tickets will go on sale on the weekend of 21/22 August for the Parish Dinner Dance which is being held at the Castle Hill RSL on Saturday 6 November 6:30 pm. The cost of the tickets will be $75 per head and will cover dinner, entertainment and dancing. Tickets will be sold on a 1st come basis and can be purchased as tables of 10, tables of 8 or single tickets. Payment can be made by cheque, credit card or cash, but must be paid for at the time of purchase.

DONATIONS
We need donations for our Dinner Dance fundraiser. We need prizes, big and small. We need big prizes for Auction and Raffles but also small prizes for balloons
and rewards on
the night.
If you have some unneeded gifts at home which are brand new and unopened you might like to donate them to the cause. (E.g. You already have a good kettle or coffee maker etc. and you were given a new one & you don’t need). As long as the goods are new and still in the box we can use them.

MARY MACKILLOP CANONISATION APPEAL
Next week (7/8 Aug) we will be conducting the 2nd parish Appeal for the Mary MacKillop Canonisation. The Sisters of St. Joseph have appealed for assistance from parishes across Australia in order to raise funds to cover essential expenses associated with the Canonisation. I encourage everyone to support this Appeal.

JOIN THE YOUTH BAND
The youth band is inviting all young people to come and sing with us! If you play an instrument, are a singer, or just want to get more involved with the youth group, join the youth band!
We sing at First Friday Devotion every month, and the 3rd Sunday of the month.
Try it out, and come along to a practice
6 p.m. every Friday at church.
